gender/breeding?

Post by AnthonyS »

hello, I'm new here!!
I started out with 4 RCS shrimp and I got 3 developed female and 1 juvenile female. I just bought 8 more and 5-6 of them have all the female features (bigger abdomen, saddle, etc.), but then I come across 2-3 that have male and female features ( a small saddle or what seems to be a saddle, but the abdomen doesn't cover the swimmeret). The problem is i can't tell by color because the new 8 are a low grade RCS/ snowballs. my question is how can you tell if they are male?

P.S: some have shed and no signs of breeding, so are they all female?

thanks
Mustafa

Only pictures can help us tell you if you have some males. Plus...RCS and snowballs are two different species, not interchangeable.
