A couple of nights ago my Procambarus alleni (appropriately named Fluffy) had a really bad molt. Molting hasn't been a thing for her lately, as she is about 5-6 months old. She lost both claws, both her mandibles and she has 2 gills outside of her body. She looks to be stable right now and looks like she might make it through, but that brings me some questions. How will she eat/how will I feed her? What will happen with the gills outside her shell? Will she grow back her claws and mandibles? I'll upload some pictures on this thread once I find my camera.

Yeah, a picture will be useful. The way you describe your crayfish I doubt it will make it in the long run.

Nope, not yet. She's been acting very strange though, but she has been feeding and doing everything alright. The only thing that has me confused now is that she's all alone in that tank and has been for around half a year, and yet she has just berried. Utterly confused.

Hmm...seems like the image above got corrupted. Anyway, crayfish can berry even without a male. Usually they drop the eggs after a few days. There is only one species that doesn't because it's all female and they don't need males.
