New to crayfish

I have decided to get a new tank. I am being drawn to a crayfish. I just think they are adorable and very entertaining. I know I need to dechlorinate the water. I have some dechlorinator that is made for Betta fish. It has good bacteria and vitamins in it. Would that be safe to use for a cray or should I get something different? I can share the name of the product I have if anyone has used something similar before.
Thanks in advance.

Crayfish are not that disimilar to the dwarf shrimp which I have more experience with. Any good quality dechlorinator will work. I use Prime. It works to remove chlorine and chloramines. Should your product remove the same it should be fine. Like shrimp the crayfish need a mature, cycled aquarium. Read the Petshrimp Articles above. What is good for shrimp is good for crays.
