wanted to know about pH

What is a good pH to keep red cherry shrimp at? I can't find it on varieties and want to make sure it is safe for me to keep them. Also are there any shrimp that come from the amazon or places with low pH? I have a blackwater tank and would like to keep some shrimp in there without them dieing. thanks for all help in advance!!!
