Hi we purchased 2 Yamato shrimps back in September (although I have since been told they are Ghost shrimps) and up until recently everything has been fine however the last 3 weeks one of the shrimp has developed a strange coloured thing in its body - sorry really hard to describe! It's like a greeny blue colour with browny black spots. Can anyone help with what it might be? I've attached pics.

You got yourself some Macrobrachium lanchesteri. That green stuff is just eggs ripening in the ovaries (you have a female). If you have a male she'll start carrying the eggs under her abdomen right after a molt.
