Finally I got a semi decent shot of one of my baby shrimps

It seems that this baby is still dizzy from just having shed his shell so that's why it was sitting still while I snapped my shots.

I first noticed baby shrimps 4 days ago so I would imagine that this baby shrimp is not be too much older then a week.

Glad you guys liked the photo. I will try to get some nicer shots and post them as I take them.
I'm waiting for a couple of my Crystal Red mommy shrimps to give birth.
Does anyone know the length of the gestation period for these shrimps?

seems like the avg gestation period for most shrimp is 3-4wks. i haven't heard too many experiences outside of this timeframe.

I don't know about anyone else but I laughed when I zoomed in on this photo that I just took. Doesn't it seemed that this baby shrimp has a HUGE eye for it size?
For a moment that reminded me of a cartoon where the character saw something shocking and it's eyeballs bulge and pop out momentarily.

it's great. my shrimp appear to make faces at me from time to time. one of the many reasons i think shrimp are so much more interesting than fish. great pic, btw. what kind of cam do u use?

I use a Sony Digicam - DSC-F828 to take those photos. Still trying to get the focusing down.
I'm always amazed how some of the amazing shots were taken. I hope one day I can take shots like those too
