Should I bother feeding my shrimp?

I have an aquarium that has been established for 5 years. I recently took out all the fish and replaced them with 20 Blue Dream Velvet Shrimp and 20 juvie CRS. Is it necessary to feed the shrimp anything or will the microorganisms in the tank be enough for them to thrive? Also, are cappata leaves better better to add than oak leaves? Thanks!

Yes, unfortunately, I think that you will still need to feed them, although much less than you fed your fish. I don't know about the leaves, sorry.

Sounds beautiful, by the way. I especially love those blue shrimp.
