is there any possiblity you could enable custom avatars from third part link locations on the phorum configuration?

I also think that avatars would be a good idea. It's so much easier to navigate the posts with everyone having a picture.

I also think this would be a good idea. Acceptable avatars could be 100 x 100 pixels either JPEG or GIF

How about this? If everyone sens me a *real* picture with the dimensions

100x100 pixels and not larger than 6100 bytes, then I will put them into the avatar folder and you guys can select them as your avatars.

I just don't like those artificial drawings and pictures. So, who's first?

Alright...changed my mind. You can send me any avatar you like. It does not have to be a picture of yourself. Once I upload your avatar, you can add it under your Profile.

Well, I was *just about to work on it, but a 'pounding' headache intervened

I'll stop by the salon tomorrow and get my hair done up in a huge beehive (Marge Simpson's will pale in comparison) and use my picture as an avatar, as originally requested by Mustafa... and go ahead and scare the living daylights out of everyone.

Well I think I've officially got myself banned from the forum! So I don't need an avatar after all.

Actually the reason I haven't submitted an avatar is partly because the byte count limit is on the ascetic side, though I can understand Mustafa doesn't want his site all clogged up. When I reduce the file size down to the absolute lowest setting, the pic ends up like a tiny pixelized blob!

Hehehahahahaha ... phew , finally I can breath with ease now.
