Right now, I don't have a light in the tank I have with my red cherry shrimp. I want to get a light to help bring out the color and so I can see them better. I have a 10 gallon tank and I want to get a 36 W light at 6500K color temp. Is this too much for the shrimp? Some fish/aquatic life hide when there is too much light. I want to see the rcs swimming around. I also would like higher light so I can grow more of a variety of plants.
