				Hi,
I have had a goldfish with my red cherry shrimps for a few weeks, I never saw him catch any shrimp. It was a 3 inch goldfish, he was not rapid enough to swallow a shrimp

 .
I then put that fish in another tank because he often mistakes pellets and shrimps even if he couldn't catch the shrimps

 .

Sometimes I give shrimp shell to my two goldfish. They enjoy this kind of 'snack' very much.

I had 5 red cherries and 3 bumblebee shrimps in my community tank with red rainbowfishes (Glossolepis Insicus) for a day... After that I haven't seen them

I tested if the fish would eat these shrimps: I threw a dead green shrimp into the aquarium. The fish ripped it into peaces in seconds!

So I would'n try keeping small shrimps with any fish. In a finnish forum (
http://www.aqua-web.org) I remember seeing stories on amano shrimps with goldfish.
