Hello to the Opae ula comunity

Post by Arnold »

Hello to the Opae comunity around the world, I dont know how I get to know about the existence of the Halocaridina shrimp about 1 year ago but I get to the supershrimp page and the forum and since then I have been reading and learning about Opae ula, Now I expect to get some shrimp very soon from a home-breeder of Spain who is very lucky because this shrimp are still very rare here. I live in the Canary islands a volcanic archipielago near the coast of Africa and belongin to Spain althoug we are 2000 km (1200 ml) far away from Spain. This archipielago is very similar in some geological and biological aspects to the Hawai archipielago and we have many unique species and habitats no were found in the world but here. Im hopping to post my set up and the evolution of my Halocaridina and get your opinions and learn especialy from Mustafa the founder and one of the mayor expert in the Opae ula shrimp.
I know its not shrimp related but I want to post some photos of my island for you, to see the beauty of my island :)

Welcome to the forum! :) It's not every day that we someone from the Canary Islands here. Even though I've never been there I get reminded of the Islands every day basically because outside the Canary Islands we (San Diego/Southern California) have probably the largest, oldest (over 100 years old) and highest number of dragon trees (Dracaena draco) in the world. The fruit tastes great, which was a surprise to me the first time I ate it. :)

In any case, again, welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your stay here.(and your shrimp)!
