raising ghost shrimp fry

i happened to have a pregnant ghost shrimp in with my cherries. Now i've heard they hatch as larves and require special food. is that true, or can i just leave them there to eat the mirco algae?
nevermind, just saw mustafa's article. I have plants and some decomposing ones, so i guess i don't need to worry. Sorry false alarm
