My New Snails

Post by Vorteil »

Just wanted to share some pics. I just added a bunch of Cappuccino Spike Snails aka Blue Rabbit snails to my tank.

Nice looking snail. How big do they get and are they heavy feeders?

Ok, I looked them up. They are a variant of the all black Faunus Ater that I had in some non shrimp tanks years ago. Nice snails that ate alot. I would feed them dried seaweed from time to time and they loved it.

I just wanted to add something different to the tanks. These's quite a bit of algae on the glass. I was going to get a couple of the black snails as well. Maybe later this week.I have too many MTS in the other tanks and don't want to make that mistake again of have too many and letting them get out of control..
