Tank reproduction and balance
I've got a 2.5 gallon cookie jar that's been going well for about two years but I'm thinking will there ever be a time where they will overproduce the tank? Or do they stop and reach a balance on their own, thanks

I started with 20 I'd say there's like 45 now

You've got a long way to go. I have a quart jar that stated with 15 and now there's over 50+. Still going at 3 years

This jar is just left on the floor at my sliding glass door to the backyard. I don't clean the sides or feed it anymore. Only fed it maybe 6 times since I started it to get it going. Just top off the water.

The top is always closed. I only open it every couple of weeks for gas exchange. Other than that it always closed
