This shrimp looks very similar in coloration to the Bumblebee shrimp I have here (presumably Caridina cf. breviata). So, although it's hard to tell from a picture alone, I would venture to say that this species belongs into the same species complex. Compare this picture with the picture of the bumblebee shrimp on my website.
Where is this shrimp from? South China? It definitely is a nice shrimp.

I am not sure where its from I got it from my LFS, and even the ones I bought vary slightly from each other. Soem are brillant and the colors are very intense and others and duller looking. They were listed as bee shrimp thats all. I assume they were the bumble bee shrimp but I wanted to make sure.

they are bbee shrimp... high grade ones based on their intense white stripes. one way to tell between a bee shrimp and bumblebee shrimp is by the color of the beginning stripe/band. begins with white stripe=bee; begins with black stripe=bumblebee.
