I have had a "hands off" attitude toward my 2.7 gallon tank. And it has taken off! I now see many baby shrimp swimming around and lots of larvae floating everywhere. Will they know when to stop? When I was a child, a friend had a guppy tank. The guppies overpopulated to a very high degree and the tank crashed.
Will my Opae Ula know when to stop? Or do I need to take measures against overpopulation? I have had the tank going for ten years, but have never seen so many newcomers.
Overpopulation?

Re: Overpopulation?
It's my understanding that they're self-regulating in terms of population growth, which is yet another thing that makes them such amazing critters to keep as pets. I've got a baby boom going on in my tank, too. I was surprised, because in years past they've tended to stop breeding in the colder months.
