Distilled water top off

Im going to be topping off with distilled water and I was wondering if I need any tools before topping off.

You can top off onto a large spoon or spatula so you do not disturb the "landscape" or base material you have created. Pour slowly and carefully.

Brands vary by location. Any distilled water should be fine.

I have a Walmart nearby, so I can grab a 1 gallon jug there. I saw that you need the water to be the same temperature as the brackish water and test kits?

I only used distilled water for top offs and have had no issues. Brand doesn't matter. I buy whatever the store has at the time.
