red cherry shrimp fishmates

I was wondering if it would be safe to keep cherry shrimp with pygmy cories. I think they grow to about the same length, 1 inch. I also wanted to know if the cories would eat my baby shrimp which are now about 1/4 of an inch long or if they would eat any smaller babies my shrimp may have. There is a lot of java moss so the shrimp can hide but I still wanted to make sure that it is possible. Thank you
and my cherries still breed fine too
