They would not eat them. I have had baby RCS (whom I bought from a friend of my) with adult amano shrimps and they would do just fine. in a heavily planted tank. However, it would be very hard for the adult RCS to breed since the amano shrimps tend to harrass or compete for food from the RCS. After I took the amano shrimps away, the RCS started to feed more and are now pregnant. Hope this helps.

ok thanks, do you think 1 inch long amanos stand a chance against 6 juvennile angels? i might move them later one once the cherrys are more settled and my tank is full of algae at the moment so i dont really think the competing is a problem but maybe the harrasing :-/

How big are the angels? if they are altum or scalare angels by the time they are 2x the size of the amanos they will start to pick and harrass them and a month after that they will consider them a light snack.

On the otherhand, my Dumerilli angels leave my shrimp alone. They don't harrass the adults or the small fry.
