Hi,
I'm new and I appologies if you have this posted somewere else.
What fish (in general) are ok to go with Red Cherry Shrimp and the other kinds of algea eating shirmp?
I curently have a small bushynosed pleco, white clouds and black skirt tetras. Are they ok?
Thanks,
TKD

None of those will eat your adult shrimp. However, the Black Skirts (G. ternetzi , I assume) will hunt baby shrimp. They will probably 'play' with the adult shrimp.

i'd would be careful with the black skirts
in my experience, even small black skirts will eat your shrimp. I placed a bunch of glass shrimp in a tank with them, the smaller ones (about the size of a cherry red) were eventually eaten by them. The smaller tetras would swim around with a half-swallowed shrimp sticking out of their mouths for a few hours. If they spit them out it was for a split second and then would put them back in so their buddies couldn't snatch them up from them

So mutch for being piecefully....
Hmmm to be honest I was more concernerd about the bushynosed.
I think I will try some ghost shirmp (glass shrimp) as an experiment.
I was looking forward to getting some too.... if I could find some here in Canada.
Maybe I could get a wood shrirmp.....
Thanks for your help,

The bushy-nosed pleco wouldn't eat the shimp if you stuffed them into his mouth.

I should have known that about the bushy...
I had on in my baby guppy tank and it never touched any of them.
Thanks again,
