Will liquid calcium and liquid iodine dissipate in a tank or do they stay in the water until you remove it (the water)?

Calcium will remain in solution. Iodine will escape.

How fast and where does it go?

How fast depends several things
  1. Type of stablizers in the product
  2. Water temperature
  3. Surface aggitation
  4. Other trace elements in the water
It should stay in solution anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

As to where it goes, it can either escape into the air as a vapor or precipitate.
