Hello all,

I'm wondering how they do this. In my tank I'm not able to see spawn. Maybe female keeps the eggs until the they are hatched ?

I know this article, but the answer of my question is not inside :-(.
Larvae assume a benthic lifestyle after hatching, i.e. they are miniature versions of the adults. There is no planktonic larval stage.
Where are the eggs before hatching ? If the females spawn somwere , or they keep the eggs under their bodies ?

They are kept under the "tail" of the female, amongst the pleopods (swimming legs).
