Shrimp Setup Question

Post by CrabbyShrimp »

While browsing the web I found this site selling a setup for Hawaiian red shrimp ("opae-ula") and I noticed that the care requirements and the overall setup looked quite minimal (feed and add water once in awhile). I was wondering, is this really an acceptable setup? I know these shrimp are quite hardy, but is what the site is advocating *too* simplistic for the species?
The site refers to the shrimp as their line of "micro-lobsters":

IMO opinion it's not acceptable. Makes me think of of a concentration camp :(

Concentration camp, eh? That doesn't sound good...
What would you say are some of the most obvious things wrong with the setup (realize I know very little about shrimp, just starting to investigate it)? Just looking I notice that the size is small, there are no filters and no suggested water changes. Also noticed there's no mention of pH, ammonia, nitrates, etc. which I see a lot of on this site.
