The tank is fully cycled with 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and 5ppm Nitrate. Water temp is 76F. There is a HOB filter with a pre-filter on the intake.

The 10 gallon tank is half planted with live and half with fake. I did some searching on this site and couldn't find out if the tank can have a bubble bar in it? Will this create too much current for the shrimp?

Also, would it be beneficial to have a few caves for the shrimp to hide?

A bubble bar is ok, although the shrimp don't really need it. Just make sure that the bubbles are not too fine so no air gets trapped under the carapace of the shrimp. The real question however is why you need a bubble bar at all. You have a filter that is provididing surface agitation *and* you have live plants that provide oxygen. In my opinion I would not even put a bubble bar in there.

Algae eating shrimp don't really care for caves, so they are not necessary.
