RED BEE Shrimp
Hello! I received some "Red-Bee" shrimp from a friend and am wondering if they will produce babies in my 5 gallon tank, does anyone have success with them? What kind of set-up do you have?
Hi BG,
Here is some basic info on the shrimp first (commonly called Crystal Red Shrimp):

These shrimp need extremely stable water conditions. No sudden changes at all since they are very sensitive. To keep the water "clean" enough for them in such a small tank I would recommend planting your tank heavily with fast growing plants. Feed them moderately and sit back and wait.
You might want to read my articles in the "Articles" section of this website to get more general pointers since the points made in the articles fully apply to the Crystal Red Shrimp.
Hope this helps.
