Don't worry kenneth, I do not have any good luck so far using my digital camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-72) in taking good pics of my shrimps and I have so much to take pictures of also. Anyway great picture. Way to go. :-D

Thanks for the pic. The little shrimp already has nice color to it. Have fun and enjoy watching them grow.

The cyber shot is worthless as it is too smart and won't take manual pictures. To take good shots you need manual control of focus. cameras get confused with the glass.

There was a guy in the cray forum that said to turn off the lights and shoot two shots with flash in rapid succesion. The 1st pic sucked, but allowed the camera to focus. The 2nd took a nice clear shot. Give it a try.

Nice photo-very clear. I noticed my digital camera blurs on close-ups so getting a picture of my babies is impossible. They're 5mm now, and still no luck with the camera. Congrats!

Nah...has nothing to do with the gender of the animals. It's just natural variation among the offspring. Coloration can also depend on mood, food, and the timing of the molt.

Please post new pics of your baby shrimp if you have any. It would be nice to see how they progress, especially the coloration.

Thanks.
