Thanks Mustafa! It's been a long road! Thank goodness both tanks are doing awesome!Mustafa wrote:Awesome! Patience and perseverance gets rewarded in the end.
Question: I look at her everyday, and she's still hanging on, eggs intact. For what I hear first time "moms" usually drop the eggs, or the larvae don't survive.... But let's say by a strike of luck they hatch... How long should it take?
I first noticed her on the 22nd,but I was coming back from a trip, so from all I know you can add a few days, give or take.
She is always sheltered, under the cave I made for them, of lava rocks.
What happens when they hatch?
Obviously I had problems with over feeding, so I am guessing I don't feed them? Even though they go to the top of the tank? I do have "baby food"
Thanks again!
Re: OMG, Finally!! Berried Female :)
congrats.
Hi Carolina, based on my own observation, so far all my berried shrimp took about a month to hatch.
nothing will happen to them. the fry will be floating around in the tank. they are attracted to light. so when the light is on, they will float around the area.
For me, nothing has changed. I feed as normal even they are berried.
sorry for my poor English.

Yep...about 30-35 days...no baby food necessary as the larvae don't eat.
