how about shrimps chasing one shrimp carrying a food pellet.. I must say he must be quite strong for a lil guy.

I am trying to increase my Kh to 50 pmm (3dkh) from 0. I have increased the Kh to 3dkh and Ph around 6.6 but it always come back to 2 dkh and ph around 6.4. I have tried this for the third time now and its still the same result.

Anyone experienced this before?

I have got another two pregnant mums .

This is after I increase the Kh to 50 ppm from zero and Ph around 6.4.

The funny thing is that before I can see the eggs.. I thought the shrimp is sick when I saw the shrimp's stomach area is developing dark color.

Another question here... there is a tiger shrimp tat is carryingher eggs its almost two weeks now... when will the mum drop her eggs and when eill the eggs hatch??

interesting.. the red line has been there for a long time ever sine i bought them... they look happy to me.. very active. i ll lookout for any abnormal behavior..could it be interbreed w other species??

Its reddish brown... the batch that I bought around 3 or 4 are all in this color.. is this normal

My three weeks old shrimp tank. I am using ADA soil with a hanging filter and also a pressurised Co2 system.Currently my ph is around 6 and temperature varies from 27c-29c, 5.4WPG...should be enough... now I have few crystal red and some tiger shrimps.My tank still in cycling mode but no death ...
