I have heard random reports of people hatching crayfish eggs that detached -- it definately couldn't hurt to try. You say it's been a few days, but as long as there is no trace of fungus there could possibly be a chance. I would put the eggs in a jar of tankwater with an airstone set to bubble low ...

Just haven't heard much about green shrimp lately -- anyone have a successful breeding program? I'd love to see some photos.

More info on N. Palmata?
I've been trying to find out more information on this shrimp -- has anyone yet bred them? Do the young show any of the orange/red coloration...all the information I have found so far speculates that the color will not be passed on to the young however I haven't seen any proof of this...and then are ...

to raise the ph you can add a small amount of baking soda -- don't add it directly to the tank, just to the waterchange water. If you have any fish in the same tank this could stress them so do small water changes to begin with to more slowly raise the ph. I also add a drop or two of iodine every ...

I woke up this morning and my other female has a clutch now -- the last clutch was about 15 to 18 eggs...this one looks to be more, like 30 maybe. I noticed in Gerald's article he estimates about 50 eggs are in a clutch -- does anyone else get that many? I bred C. shufeldtii before too and never got ...

How many pairs do you have?Janis wrote:Hi Craig,
The crays show up on Aquabid occasionally and shipping to Canada is possible if you're willing to pay for it, but I just went across the border and picked them up over there.
I just got mine recently so haven't had any babies yet, hopefully soon!
