So they wouldn't bother the plants & thanks alot maxcow.

Any body knows if the Assassin Snail (Antentome helena) eats any plants?. I want to buy some of these to get rid of the "pest" snails in my planted tank, but I don't want them eating the plants.

Well, Yesterday i saw a few baby Cherry Shrimps & this is my first time with these little critters. :wink: There are still some Daphnia in the tank & i am writing here, just to confirm what zapisto & badflash wrote. That the Daphnia don't harm the newly born shrimps. Thanks alot Guys. :-D

So i will have to keep them seperated, if i buy some different ones.

I read some of the information given & i have a question regarding the Cherry Shrimp.

Can Cherry Shrimps corssbreed with any other Shrimps?.

Can Shrimps cross breed?.

Will the Cherry Shrimps eat the Daphnia or will the Daphnia eat newly born Cherry Shrimps?.

The problem is, that i have them both in the same tank with lots of Java moss......
