"Big Mouth Hungry"!!!
I'd avoid anything with a big mouth. Fish will usually eat whatever they can fit in their mouth. Personally I think the only safe fish would by cories and otos. I also keep SAE's with my shrimps but they are quick and fast and the shrimps would probably like it better to themselves but they live tog...

I've tried this, but only because in my shrimp only tanks, i have small bug like things, cyclops, or whatever they are the fry thrives on them and eat them all day so there is a constant supply of food as opose to a fish already tank where there would be no small fry food. This might be why they gro...

Hey, Shimpboy where did you get your tigers? I've been looking for them all around my area and to no avail, nada! I would love to get my hands on some tigers.. as well as greens, crystal reds, and bees, (not bumbles). I'm even willing to drive up to 100 miles one way to get them. Just no one around ...

Not even exactly sure what they are called.... either rainbows... or Indian Algaes.. I have about 30 babies running ...

cherry shrimps/Indian Aglae shrimps.
About 2 months ago I bought 5 cherry shrimps at the my lfs, 2 were red, the other three were clear. They do look the same, just different colors. I was told they would change into their natural red color when they get established. They are in a well planted tank with other shrimps and some SAE. They...

5 gallon Shimp tank
I have a 5 gallon I was considering making into a shrimp only tank. I was wondering if the 5 gallon was an ok size or if it was too small. It would be only for shrimps like red cherries and maybe some smaller algae ones. If anything I might consider one Octo to be put in there. Its heated, with an e...
