i've herd good things about it, but i've never used it personally. All i have ever used in my freshwater tanks is backyard sand. Literally Dig it up out of the back yard, give it a good rinse and ready to go.

its pretty darn dark in the office when there is no one there, i don't have any external walls. but for some stupid reason i didn't even think of putting the light on a timer, i suppose i will try it without and if i think there are any issues i'll just pick up a timer.
