I bought 12 shrimp maybe 8-10 (maybe even a year) months ago. Now I have about 50-100 in my tank. What I have noticed is that I don't see the really bright red shrimps that I use to have before. They are not sick, but they just are not as bright as before.

In the dudes defense the search sucks on the forum.

Then they all must be dudes. But I have some smaller shrimp that will mature in a week or two. Hopefully one of them is a girl.

Would the females produce eggs even if there was no male tigers in the tank?

If the cherries are breeding like crazy, does that mean that the conditions are right for my tigers also?

I wouldn't have trouble with putting my hand in the tank and letting my shrimp sit on it. But for some reason I don't like picking them up outside of the tank. Don't know why, maybe because they squirm around.

How big is she?

You guys are crazy, I don't wan't to pick up my cherries using my hands when they decide to jump out, let alone handle this beast.

If someone can post (or point me to) pictures of male/female tigers. I would like to learn how to tell them apart.

I also think that avatars would be a good idea. It's so much easier to navigate the posts with everyone having a picture.

What kind of shrimp is the one in the 4th picture? Bumblebee?

And Mustafa do you have any tigers for sale?

At what age are we able to tell the males apart from the females? And is the saddle the only way to tell them apart? I'm having trouble sexing the younger shrimp; almost all of them look like males to me.
