Lunar/moon lights are basically small LED lights that produces a blue beam luminating an area of water in your tank. Reef keepers use it for marine organisms because the LED lights simulates them with the "moon-like" feel just like in nature. Another reason why reef keepers use them is bec...

The best way of removing unwanted snails from you tank would be fetching them out manually or just feeding less. I dont trust ghost shrimp with cherries because I heard stories that they will snatch and eat dwarf shrimp. Then again there are different kinds of ghosts, which type are you refering to?...

I was acclimating shrimp and dwarf crawfishes together in a small container using drip method. I guess they were in there too long and cabin fever came upon the crays and they killed a shrimp. However since being introduced to the tank they have been living together peacefully. Moral of the story, g...

How are your C. patzcuarensis doing Eric? I've had mines for about 1-2 months now and just today I saw a male on top of a female fornicating. He was on top of her for a good 15-20 minutes since I noticed them. I'll try to post some pictures as soon as I figure it out.

There are alot of potential shrimpmates for your cherries such as amanos and shrimp from the Caridina species such as bee, bumblebees and tigers (bamboos if you have a larger tank). However with only a 6 gallons at your disposal, your 10 cherries should turn into 50 very soon if you care for them co...

Mines resembles N. zhangjiajiensis in body shape but instead of being white they are in the shade from light green to very light green. :? Reason I asked is because, the person who sold them to me claimed that...
