Acclimatization period of Sulawesi Cardinals

Hi Everyone, I have a chance to get Sulawesi Cardinals. The person I would be getting them from said they are wild caught and she has been acclimatizing them to her tank over a period of two weeks. Is that length of time necessary? I do want to be carful as if I do get them they will be $18 Canadian...

I had 3 asian (wood) shrimp and 2 african (Vampire) shimp in the same tank. I never saw them fight but the africans were always under the wood fanning as the asians were all over the place and fanning
