I got all my stuff from this website. The snails were doing great for a week. I don't know what happened. The shrimp seem very active.

Snails dead, but shrimp are fine.
I put the snails and shrimp in the tank about the same time, r roughly a week ago. The snails were very active, clinging to the glass and moving around surprisingly fast. Today I noticed I don't see one snail moving. (I had 10). My shrimp seem to be unaffected and ate behaving normal. Any idea what ...

I've noticed that the water seems to be getting a little cloudy. Is this normal? All the shrimp seem happy.

Thank you for responding. It's plastic. I ended up transferring them and added more. They have found plenty of places to take refuge.

Transferring Eco- sphere shrimp
I bought an Ecosphere from ShrimpBubble with 4 opae ula in it. It inspired me to try to construct my own gallon shrimp environment. The ecosphere is not closed off, it's corked. Is it possible to transfer the shrimp to the new set up with out them dying of shock? Would it be safe to transfer the mic...

Re: Snails or shrimp first?
Brand new. I just ordered the algae. I was looking for a small plant to put in there. Maybe I'll just settle for a fake one. What about the snails/ shrimp?

Snails or shrimp first?
I just got my tank set up. I ordered the algae and a Java fern plant. Should i order the snails before the shrimp or order them at the same time? Should i wait a couple weeks after getting the algae to order the snails?

How many shrimp are in there? That's barely over 2 cups of water. Might be OK for like 2 of them, from what I've read.

Brackish water plants?
I'm just looking for some live plants to give my shrimp places to hide and that they will enjoy. Any suggestions? I came across these mangrove plants. I was thinking of putting 1 or 2 in there so they grew out of the top. I thought the shrimp may like hanging out in the root structure. Had anyone tr...

Re: Beginner, needs advice
Awesome. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out! For the algae, is there a recommended amount? Can you have too much? And besides snails, after there any other critters or shrimp they could hang out with?
I tried attaching a photo of the set up in starting with.

Beginner, needs advice
HI! I would like to try to build my own shrimp habitat. I have a .9 gallon enclosure (just under a gallon) I would like to keep Opae Ula shrimp. With my size tank, how many can I get. I was also thinking about putting two or three cherry shrimp on there for variety (I know that they don't live long)...
