pimafix doesn't treat ich. Watch your tank closely. Just because you don't see it anymore doesn't mean it might not pop back up. Ich can be very tricky to get rid of. I always use salt first, half dose if you have sensitive stuff in the tank. I haven't had to treat with salt and shrimp since shrimp ...

Re: if the frogs are hungry enough.....
They will even try to eat what they can't possibly swallow. frog-predator shrimp-prey No they don't. African claweds will do this but true dwarfs will not. They are very peaceful, especially when they get used to eating prepared food. I feed mine frozen blood worms and have raised guppy fry with th...

I would not suggest leaving animals in a tank while moving them. It tends to get a bit rough on them plus the substrate kicks up debries. I've heard of someone doing this and all their poor guppies died. Remove all the plants into a bucket with about half tank water in it. You can also transport the...

Try to get clove oil. It's a good thing to have aroud in situations like this. You can find small expensive ammounts at pharmacies or go to a health food store to get it in larger quantaties. Small doses will just knock out the animal but larger ones will kill it very quickly. I have some around inc...

Brackish shrimp?
Heya guys.
I was wondering, are there any shrimp that live in brackish water or can be acclimated to BW and thrive(not just survive)? I tried searching brackish but didn't come up with anything. There's a few threads that come up but nothing specifically on the matter.
Thank you

Wow talk about off topic guys lol! ADF might catch a shrimp every now and then but with the way they eat I doubt they could keep it down. It takes them long enough to finish off a blood worm, I can't imagine them finishing off a shrimp. Mine lives with a fairly large amano with no problems what-so-e...
