So as an update 3 months later, out of the many many shrimp that hatched, I think only 8 or so made it to adulthood, though its hard to count which ones are new outside the few that are still smaller shrimp. So many hatchlings did not make it. That gave maybe like a 6% or so estimate survivalhood. I ...

As an update, a bunch of the shrimps hatched and I counted 17+ offspring! I'm not sure if these came from one female or both, but I also managed to witness a couple of them hatch before my eyes! Very exciting and I'm glad everything worked out eventually.
