So I think the past one or two times I fed, I ended up overfeeding. For a while, I had a lot of surface algae on my tank that built up, and I noticed, for whatever reason, the snails finally started to get to it and ate the majority of it. Also, my Chaeto is pretty big, which is a lot of food. I think I've been giving too strong of light on top of the overfeeding so I am going down to a smaller wattage.
Regardless, today I started seeing some tiny snails on the glass, and when I took a closer look, I counted 20+ or so of the tiny snails on the substrate and other surfaces, but there's probably much more. They are about the size of pinheads or even smaller, so they are most likely newly born. I'm not entirely sure how to best handle these outbreaks in these tanks besides just hand fishing them. Any suggestions?

Hi! Just stop feeding completely for now until you don't see any new algae growth anymore. The snails will self regulate the population. No need to take them out.
