In addition to that. Aquarimax pets has great resources as well.
TL;DR;
1/2 gal tank or larger, I like 2.5
substrate if not using a calcium based substrate add crushed calcium.

Hello, I just finished adding my shrimp to my first ever setup for these awesome crustaceans.
2.5 gallon with aragonite sand substrate black lava rock and macro algae.
