I just dont *think* he is getting bit at because they are all such non aggressive fish.

I just have to add, I have started looking for another 20 gallon tank so that I can move my shrimp in there and hopefully buy some more shrimp and a few community fish.

Then I will go ahead and purchase the clown loach.

Yeah I've had this snail problem for... well I got the snails in June. So yeah... it's to the point I am going to try whatever I can to get rid of them.

I have no advice, except that from what I read and see, my filter shrimp has plenty to eat with just the particles in the water.

I put a cave rock right under the current and he loves it.

Long story short, I have a snail problem that is just not going away (damn prolific snails) and I was recommended to get a clown loach.

I have a male asian filter shrimp. He has plenty of places to hide. He comes out once every few days to feed (or maybe he is coming out at night).

I actually have two big 'castles' with lots of holes in them, great hiding place. Like a giant rock with holes, but prettier! lol. None of my fish use it so my rock/bamboo/wood/asian filter/shrimp is pretty comfy in there.

One of the 'castles' is right in the path of the filter ...

I just have to ask... how do you get such great pics!? I've been trying to get decent pics of my fish for a looong time and they always turn out so terrible. I have a decent camera, just don't have the technique I guess.

I've come armed with a bit more information.

"rock shrimp' has not jumped ship, he was hiding in a tiny crevice in one of my fish "houses":oops: and I discovered him today. He had his little feeler sticking out, sensing out the water I guess lol.

He only has one ...

This 'rock shrimp' has completely disappeared. I have no idea how far it can jump, but we have searched the perimeter and it is nowhere. It is not in the tank, in none of the hideouts....

I am very concerned.

I have no idea, I actually did look through the shimp pics and found nothing even remotely resembling my very bland, brownish 2-3 cm shrimp.
