Can anyone tell me what kind of shrimp this is? I saw it at the LFS. They call it a black shell shrimp, which of course tells me nothing about it. Thanks,

What kind of requirements do these shrimp require? Are they more like RCS or CRS in there breeding requirements? Does anyone know if these are even available in North America?

Just wondering if these 2 will crossbreed if i keep them in the same tank as one is Cardina.sp and the other Neocaridina. I have had them in there for a few months and have not noticed any crossbred shrimps, but would like to know for sure. Thanks.

Does anyone here use eco complete in their shrimp tanks? I've decided to set up a 10 gallon and I got a spare bag of this lying around. Would it be good to use this? Or should I just go bare bottom? Any advise? Thanks guys...

Would a 5 gallon tank be sufficient for breeding shrimps? Or should I have something bigger? I got a 5 gallon I am thinking of using for breeding some cherries. Thinking of just setting up with bare bottom and some java moss. Any thoughts? Thanks.
