Yeah it's impossible to capture the dust with my camera. I took a shot of a shrimp and did a little paint job. Imagine the red dots are light brown in color and a lot smaller, just like dust. These 'dust' covers the shrimp's body and is visible up close. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a70/jbnaquat...

All the shrimps are eating like pigs and doing quite well. I would like to know what these 'dustings' are ...

Length of time...hmm I notice this when I first received the shrimps and it has lasted this long. That would be about a month ago or so. I don't believe this brown lump spreads to other shrimps and it might just be a genetic mutation. I'll try to get a picture but it's a bit difficult. Here's anothe...

Brown lump on shrimp head - disease?
In my little cherry red shrimp colony, I saw one or two of them with this weird brown lump protruding from the side of their head. What are these lumps and should I be concern? Do I have to isolate these individuals? Thanks in advance

I also use the OmegaOne Veggie Rounds but instead of crumbling it into sand particles I take about 1/8th of it and drop it in the tank. It automatically sinks and the shrimps rush to get it. Since the shrimps eat pretty fast, the food does not pollute the water. Speaking of growing algae, I was thin...
