I know this sounds like an odd question, but many of us who have fish have found specific meds for things like parasites.
I was just wondering if there is any info or if anyone has tried to use meds to get rid of parasites or other shrimp problems? Invererts are more sensitive, so I would assume ...

Ok, some clarification on my question. I red slime algae I was referring to is very common problem in salt water tanks. It is actually not algae, it is really a bacterium as the name states but common name is red slime for some reason.

cyanobacteria as food?
I have been keeping a clean tank for my Vocano Shrimp feeding Spirialina but I know many of you say you can put an algae covered rock from another tank for them to munch on. Just wondering, if I do indroduce a rock, the one I have has some red slime (cyanobacteria) would this be ok for them to eat?

ICH needs a vertebrate host like most fish but as you guys know, shrimps are Inverts so they do not ususaly get that particular sickness. I guess thats why cleaner shrimp never get sick. I suppose they could get other things ...
