Shrimp Diet?

I got a tank full of Red Volcano Shrimp (Halocaridina ruba) that have seemed to settle in and swimming around. I feed ever other day. But I have to go out of town for about 6 days. Will it be ok if they dont get fed for that amount of time since I dont have anything else in the new tank for them to feed off of?

Acroding to the Micro - Lobster site that sell these guys, they can go a month no problem without feeding. Is this true?

It s true.

It is also true for many algae eating shrimp as long as there is some algae in the tank for them.
