Re: Worried about my room temperature for my SuperShrimps

I keep mine at 70 Fahrenheit 66 should be OK and if you are really concerned put a heater in the tank.

Re: Supershrimp activity

There activity probably isn't because they are happier even though it might look like that! Supershrimp usually get really active when anything exciting happens to them or any changes are made to their environments. For example, whenever I add water too my tank they all get very excited and swim aro...

Re: New supershrimp, not red

Mustafa is right. Another thing to consider is their size, you said they where about the size of a pin head. That is very small I think that it is safe to say they are probably still VERY young and have not fully developed :)
But deffinately nothing wrong if they are active and eating well.

Re: Shrimp Cluster

When I first read your post your question did not sink in. When I was recently looked at my tank it hit me. My shrimp or at least a number of them congregate in a location. For example the temperature probe will have a dozen or more shrimp attached. My heater which is unplugged but not removed beca...

Nerites?

Does anybody know a good place to buy a nerite? I think it would make a nice addition to my supershrimp tank.

Re: Did I do something wrong ???

Sorry for your lost shrimp Andre. A few questions. Tank size, number of shrimp, pictures and how long have you had the Opae. You talk of 'pellets'. And 'very small' is relative. Think flakes and pea size. When feeding try a pea size flake. If they finish it in ten minutes try 3-pea sized flakes in ...
