You kind of have no choice on the snails. It’s sold as a pack of 10. And that’s fine for the tank. I have a 1 gal at work with it and 10 shrimps in there. I ordered the snails, macroalgae, and shrimps from him on 2 separate occasions (3 if you include the macroalgae and snails first to get it started). Yes I was hesitant at first.
