Is there something to test if anything is bad in your query before you put your shrimp in our does the cycling take care of everything. Like let's say soap residue or chemicals

I set up my tank about 2-3 days ago and I have tons of air bubbles and it's not super cloudy but there is definitely still cloudiness. Does it usual take a week or so?
