Hi all, I have been keeping tropical fish for over 15 years but have NEVER kept freshwater inverts. I was at my local fish store and took notice of some shrimp they had and would like to know if they would be compatible in one of my tanks.
The tank I would realy like to put some shrimp in is a 135 with some large red hooks, clown loaches, pictus cats, and about two dozen pristella tetras.
So......would Bamboo or Glass shrimp be OK in this set up?
Or......would it be better for me to put either species in my 75 gallon community with nothing but small community fish?
Thanks all!!

Hello wert
Welcome
First I would suggest to check out the Shrimp Varieties Page to the left of the screen. Look under Asian Filter Shrimp.
Large fish Or even small fish and shrimp to not go together very well.
If the fish do not try and eat the shrimp, they will harass the Shrimp.
Also check out the water parameters for each species
Filter feeders like to have a current they can set in ,to catch there food.
Have a Great Day
