Are certain species more friendly than others?

When i'm doing tank work in my 21g my cherry shrimp just go about their business but my tigers (who live in a 10g) love to land and crawl on me.

I know there's less room in a 10g and that's probably why they are landing on me but are certain types of shrimp more human friendly than others?
